01 / PRODUCT ROLE
Welding power for the formed tube seam.
The solid-state HF welder supplies high-frequency electrical energy used to heat and join the formed strip edges in an ERW tube mill. It works with the line's forming and welding section; it is one part of the complete tube-making system.
The suitable welding configuration depends on the planned tube sizes and matching wall thicknesses, material, desired production speed and the rest of the line arrangement. An existing line also needs a compatibility review before a replacement is specified.

HF welder buying questions
What is a solid-state HF welder used for?
It supplies high-frequency welding energy for the formed strip edges in the longitudinal seam-welding section of an ERW tube mill.
Is a higher power rating always better?
No rating should be chosen from the number alone. XFX needs the exact tube sizes, paired wall thicknesses, material, intended speed and line configuration before discussing a suitable welder.
Can XFX discuss a welder for my existing tube mill?
Yes. Send the current tube mill and welder details, tube schedule, electrical information and photos. Compatibility must be checked before a replacement or upgrade is confirmed.
Does the HF welder quotation include coils, cooling and spare parts?
Do not assume a fixed package. The proposed induction coil, cooling/protection arrangement, spare parts and integration work should be stated in the project quotation.
Can I discuss the welder together with a complete tube mill?
